May 14 and this is all new to me ... technology and I don't get along too well and now, here I am, a 55 year old guy attempting to learn how to blog. When I was born "blog" wasn't even a word! This site sure has a lot of potential and I'm hoping to learn enough to share my experiences, thoughts, and impressions of this grand adventure with all those who have sponsored me and want to follow my progress across the country.

Banning had his pin taken out today. He was wishing he could bring it to science class. We are going to get a wall size USA map and follow your miles. Keep up the typing skills and keep your body strong.
