Few look as graceful on a two-wheeled vehicle as my father on a bicycle... Complete with a big sumo butt! (Compliments of the blog master) Photos also include the presentation of a check to the ALAW, the funds of which were raised by the Big Riders. Also, Jim assembling a bicycle before the start of the ride.

Great job Jim. Tailwind? Enjoy it while ou can. We didn't have any in 2007. I am glad you are having so much and enjoying it so much.
Slowing down and having breakfast at the B&B in Davenport and meeting the people is what it is BIG RIDE is all about.
May your legs be strong and the winds favorable.
And I highly recommend. stopping midday, just to take your shoes and socks off and put them inthe rivers. The world ain't going anywhere. Enjoy the simple life! - Andy 2007 Big Ride Alum
